Travel Tips

Get to the airport early. Allow EXTRA TIME to find parking or to find pick-up and drop-off space at the curb. We ask that you arrive to the airport 1 1/2 hour before departure time.
Be prepared. Arrive ready to travel, luggage well packed and photo ID and airline documents easily available. Double check the contents of your pockets, bags and carry-on luggage to ensure no prohibited items were inadvertently packed. You are required to remove footwear for X-ray screening; place shoes in plastic bins with the rest of your carry-on items.
Use checked luggage as a fast option for liquids, gels and aerosols.
Liquids, gels and aerosols as carry-ons must be in: 3 ounce or smaller containers placed in a 1 quart, clear, plastic, zip-top bag. Only one bag per passenger may be taken through the screening checkpoint. Larger quantities must be placed in checked luggage.
Do not wrap gifts. Security officers may have to search contents of packages.
Do not over-pack bags. Closing overstuffed bags can be difficult and may result in that checked bag being delayed.
Do not pack fragile or valuable items in checked baggage. Ship or take them with you in carry-on baggage (no liquids).
